Bespoke · From the Village Square · Lagos → Everywhere
Cut for the body. Drawn for the eye.
Bespoke tailoring for women and men — Agbada, Aso-Ebi, wedding gowns, three-piece suits. Local hands, international eye.

"The cloth remembers."
House Note No. 04
Our Philosophy
Tailoring is the architecture of the body in motion.
We approach every commission as a problem of structure first, ornament second. The shoulder is a beam, the chest is a façade, the trouser line is a column. When the structure is honest, the garment moves with you — never against.

The House Collections
Ready-to-wear, cut like bespoke. Arriving in seasons.
We are quietly building a line of small-run collections — capsules cut in our own house cloth, sized to the body, sold in limited numbers. A preview of what's on the pattern table.

Iron & Indigo
A monochrome study — Adire indigo pushed through tropical wool. Suits, robes, and a first bridal capsule.

The Coronation
Full-throated Agbada and gele — coral, oxblood, and gold thread. Built for the season of weddings.

Village to Everywhere
Travel tailoring in local cloth — Aso-Oke reworked into two-piece suits and lightweight kaftans.

Personal Fabric Consultant
At the market this weekend? Let us hold the cloth.
Not every fabric flatters every style. Weight, drape, weave, hand — the wrong bolt can undo the best cut. If you're sourcing your own cloth at Balogun, Idumota, Lagos Island or anywhere else, don't guess alone.
Book our Personal Fabric Consultant service — we'll advise on what works for the silhouette you want, meet you at the market if you'd like, and walk you through the styling from bolt to finished garment.
The Workroom
A house of running machines.
Industrial heads, hand-guided. Every seam on your garment is fed under a needle by a cutter who knows the piece by name. Nothing is outsourced, nothing is rushed.

Words from the Fitted
Held by every stitch.
A house is measured by the people it dresses. These are theirs, in their own words.
"My wedding gown was everything I dreamed and more. Every fitting felt personal, and the finishing was flawless. The Village Tailor made me feel like royalty on my day."
"The three-piece suit fit like a second skin. Master craftsmanship — you can feel the difference in every seam. I've already ordered two more."
"Coordinating 12 women is no small feat, but the studio handled every measurement, every fitting, every panic call with grace. We looked incredible."
"The Agbada moved with me instead of against me. Beautifully weighted, honestly cut. Compliments all night at my brother's wedding."
"Third commission and counting. What I love most: they listen. My style, my body, my ideas — held with real care. This is a house you can trust."
"Sharp shoulder, clean drape, delivered on time. Not one detail out of place. The Village Tailor sets the standard."
